Hello, I’m Seyma.
I have taught Qur’an, Religious Culture and Ethics, and Basic Religious Knowledge for many years in middle and high schools under the Turkish Ministry of Education.
Alongside teaching, I have encouraged my students to nourish their bodies through sports, their souls through art, and their minds through reading — aiming to raise individuals who are both grounded in their own values and open to the world.

I lived in the United States for many years and completed my PhD in the History of Religions. There, I encountered different educational models and became familiar with diverse cultures.
These experiences have allowed me to approach teaching with an informed, comparative, and academic perspective.

In Turkey, I have taught Religious Culture and Ethics to many age groups, from primary to high school.
This experience taught me the importance of practical and adaptable education.

I speak English and Arabic, and as a mother of two, I use the empathy and understanding that motherhood has given me to create sincere, engaging, and effective online classrooms for my students.
